“While most chase the next exciting investment opportunity, a focus on the behavior surrounding your financial decisions is often the missing link between you and your financial objectives”
About Daniel Frankel
I am a Certified Financial Planner and CFA charterholder with over 15 years of experience helping families make smart, lasting financial decisions. I am passionate about bringing a transparent, authentic and personal experience to my clients.
As Founding Principal of WealthCollab, I collaborate with clients to develop and implement an individualized framework for making prudent decisions in all areas of finance. Ultimately, my goals are pretty straightforward. I want clients to meet their financial objectives and have confidence along the way. To that end, I help clients manage cash flows, budgets, investments, real estate, taxes, debt and any other areas that effect their financial situation.
As a child, I had an interest in finance and read way too many self-help financial books (yes, I was that dorky). Some of the books definitely had some great advice, however, I immediately noticed how difficult it was to apply these concepts to an individual situation. For that reason, I dedicated my professional life to helping others navigate the financial landscape and digest the myriad of best practices, quick tips, and blog posts.
I have been fortunate to have a varied career in wealth management. I have worked for several large firms and helped to start a smaller firm serving technology executives in Portland, OR. In 2015, my wife and I decided to move closer to family and relocate to the Greater Seattle Area.
I graduated from Denison University with a degree in Math and Economics. I have an MBA from the Foster School of Business at University of Washington.
